In the seventh episode of the program, our guest was Coach Abed Ghosheh, who shared an inspiring story in the world of sports training—one that started in his childhood at the gym, grew with him as a passion, and later turned into a life mission and a personal project carrying his unique touch.
Coach Abed began his journey in training through working out at the gym. Over time, he committed to continuous learning, earning multiple certifications in personal training, group training, and CrossFit. However, he strongly believed that certificates alone are not enough—they must be applied effectively in practice, otherwise their value is lost.
From the start, he viewed sports as more than just a job; it was a clear vision and purpose. His ultimate goal was to build his own project, one through which he could create real impact.
One of the key milestones in his life was his experience in Australia, where he witnessed a completely different approach to sports. There, fitness is considered a lifestyle, coaches are well-educated and specialized, and the working environment encourages growth and continuous education. This experience reinforced his conviction about the need to build a strong sports culture in our societies.
Coach Abed was inspired to create his project, Ultimate Me Challenge, from a personal experience with his daughter, where he saw the power of sports in overcoming challenges. He started by forming a group of individuals united by a common goal, then developed the program to include:
One of his proudest achievements was working with children aged 1.5 to 6 years, through programs tailored specifically for each age group. For him, sports are not just exercises, but also a tool for social and physical development—delivered through play and excitement. He expressed this experience with a memorable phrase: “If you can train a child, you can train any age group.”
Coach Abed explained the differences between group and personal training:
On the other hand, personal training is more individualized and deeply tailored to the client’s needs.
Coach Abed summarized the traits of a successful coach in three words:
Coach Abed Ghosheh’s episode was a living lesson that training is not just a profession, but a commitment, passion, and a sincere desire to create impact. His message is clear: if you love what you do and invest in yourself, you will reach your goals. Even if the opportunity comes late, it will surely come.
