What is aerobic step?
Step was invented by Kim Miller, a professional fitness athlete, in 1989. Kim suffered a serious knee injury from training. Then, he was diagnosed by a doctor and was advised to get rehab training with repeated box jumps to strengthen the ligament structure around the knee, thus the first step training was conceived.
The step pattern of training is based on flexibility and agility, helping more people to pull through and lead a normal life. Some experts have studied the effects of step in terms of kinesiology and biology and have found that it is highly effective in strengthening the body's motor functions, while firming up the hips, which transmit strength, and improving the strength of the entire lower limb.
